Great article in this month's Washingtonian. Make no mistake about it. If you
dont have a parking pass, you must take the metro or park at RFK. There is no
parking.....BTW, Ryan Zimmerman will hit the very first HR at Nationals
Park.....it will be on opening night against the Braves, his first at bat and it
will be right down the left field line....see you there!!!

Subject: [The Washington Senators] Opening Day
I tried to get opening day tickets for the Nationals yesterday, as I did get
through on the computer.
I made the mistake of hitting best available as they where seats in the last
section lower deck curved toward homeplate for 63 each. I did not mind paying
the 63, but I had a bad experience with seats like that at RFK, not being high
enough to see well.
So, I hit the back bar to get seats in the upper deck. Big mistake. Got knock
out.
I could not get back in.
Tickets sold out.
But today, I read in the paper that they only had 4000 tickets available as they
have only 18,000 season tickets sold. I am not sure if that was 18,000 ticket
holders or seats. But I am sure they do not have 37,000 seats sold as season. I
also learn that season ticket holder got a chance to buy more tickets, which
discuss me, as they are might be sold on ebay.
I should of taken 4, the max, for the section I had, and sold them for the big
bucks on ebay. Just kidding.
Oh well, allot of people will be going who are not really baseball fans. But
what can you do.
I still will be going to the new park this year about 13 times, to be filled in
with trips to the local minors and a trip to Pittsburgh, Altoona, State College
and York, PA.
Did a copy of "They Stolen Our Team" really go for $200 on ebay? I have one of
those books!
