Hi Nats fans!
Please click on the link, below, and look what's listed in former DC Council
Chairman Dave Clark's public records, "Box 157 Folder 17!"
http://www.aladin.wrlc.org/gsdl/collect/faids/import/MS2010.shtml
I wonder what is in that folder? No doubt some great memories and
long-lasting friendships!
The Washington Senators Fan Club was the flag that some of us rallied under
and I would like to thank all of you who joined me to help raise awareness
for our long and continued effort to bring Major League Baseball back to
DC! Michael O'Harro of Champions in Georgetown and Richard Danker of
Danker's Restaurants in DC eagerly worked with us to host and provide
special events that helped to highlight our collective cause. Thanks to
Michael and Richard, we always had a place to meet and plan our functions.
My thoughts and prayers also go out to all who worked with us throughout the
years that passed away (like Dave Clarke, my uncle Ed Malone and Mo Siegel),
who never got the chance to see the Nats very first game on Opening Day 2005
at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
It was an honor to work with you and a lot of fun as well!
I hope to see you at RFK sometime this season!
"Let's go Nats!"
Pat Malone
