Living Washington Senators?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1213 of 1459 |
Hello everyone,

I trust that this topic won't be considered "morbid". However, on a
popular baseball website that I frequent the question recently came up
as to how many former Washington Senators were still living.

(There are forums dedicated to other former teams-the Brooklyn Dodger
and St. Louis Browns forums maintain a list of currently living former
team members, listed by age, along with the inevitable obituaries and
updates to the list.)

I realize that this task would be complicated by the fact that there
were two seperate entities called the Washington Senators but was just
wondering if anyone is keeping track of our former team members (both
original and expansion franchises) and how many are still with us?

Regards to all, Art

Art, One resource that you could use would possibly be the Major League Baseball Alumni Association (MLBAA). They've probably got a great database of former...
