Thanks, Arch, I appreciate your help in clearing up this for me. You know how
myths can build as generations pass - it would have been great to be able to say
we had a relative who played for the Senators but it doesn't upset me that he
didn't either, if you understand what I mean.

I am doing family research and have been told that an ancester, Austin
Row(e) played for the "old" Washington Senators. The only information
I have is his birth and death date: 2/19/1899 - 10/1949. I have tried
