This is really sad, in a way.
Dave Huppert was the third base coach of the Nat's last year.
He was let go.
Last night in Hagerstown, we notice a guy coaching 3rd for the Lakewood
Blueclaws, as of course, the manager in the minors coaches 3rd base.
The guy had a name of Huppert on his shirt and looked just like the Nat's person
from last year.
Sure enough, it was! So, from the major's down to low A baseball. Like I said,
that is sad, but hey, he got a job.
Meanwhile, Pete Rose, Jr. is in jail for a month selling steroids to players, as
he is 37 and still in the minors!
I still remembering seeing him at Potomac, hitting 2 home runs. Oh well.
