The Washington Nationals possible name change   Message List

Hi,

I was at the Hawk'n'Dove on Capitol Hill on Saturday and I heard some
guys speak regarding the possibilities of the Nationals changing their
name to the Senators. Actually, there were a group of guys, some
lawyers, some people who seemed to know what was going on. One guy
who spoke about the Senators was Pat Malone. He seemed to be pretty
passionate about the name, but said that he thought that MLB would win
it's case against Bygone Sports. The other lawyers who spoke said
that MLB would probably win and that the team would keep the name
Nationals. Pat Malone seemed to know all the lawyers who spoke and he
was very knowledgable about the issue of the Senators name as well as
the Nationals name with MLB. Who is Pat Malone? I'm just curious.
