I was so excited about the Nats, as you are right, FDR ended prohibition in
1933. Maybe that got the 1933 Nationals to win the AL title!

Maybe it will work again.

Got my tickets for Labor day already when they play the Marlins again.

It will be a long season, however.

Maybe they need more players to run over umpires! LOL

The Associated Press couldn't get it right that the '33 team was in fact
the Nationals, not the Senators (officially at least). Not to quibble on
such a happy day, but prohibition ENDED in '33. Those were tought times
when people really need a stiff drink. Let's go, Nats! And three cheers
