I got up and watched the Opening at 3.30am and was amazed by it. The
Greeks did a geat job.

If Michael Phelps was the MAN in with Swimming, the Aussie Girls were
the WOMEAN, beating the US 100m Free relay team for the 1st time
since 1956. I am so excited about the swimming. All we are talking
about here is the rivalry between Aust and the US and who will win
the meet. So far 2-1 to Aust!

What is the coverage like in the States. Have the commentators
stopped yabbering and let the action speak for themselves.
We have 2 channels covering - the main one who will concentrate on
the top stuff and another covering the some of the team sports that
people want to watch live. Such as Soccer, Hockey etc etc. I watched
the Russians beat Domican Republic in the Volleyball. What about the
height some of these girls can get to!
