The Minnesota Timberwolves just signed one of my favorite bench
players... Mark Madsen. He's not great offensively, but he hustles
for your team. I'm a Lakers fan at heart and was sad to see him go,
but the T'Wolves are a great team also. I'd love to see you guys get
out of the first round of the playoffs though, unless you guys are
playing my Lakers -- in which case I have to go with my heart.

Anyways, when the season starts (or even before), I'd be interested
to hear what you think of our... excuse me, YOUR beloved Mark
Madsen. If you like him as much as we do here in LA, please check
out our group for "Mad Dog"!!!

Hello Everybody!

Check out the Great Lakes Basketball Association web
site at http://www.geocities.com/glbahoops.

We also have our own Yahoo Group at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/glbahoops

The Great Lakes Basketball Association is a NEW
semi-professional basketball league based in Michigan,
Indiana, and Ohio. In the future the league also
plans to expand into Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Plans currently call for each franchise entering the
GLBA to have both a men's and women's team. Players
are required to be 18 years of age or older. Some
franchises may also choose to have their own
cheerleading squads.

I loved that trade. Come to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thetwolvesden and talk about it. I
think we got the better part of that deal. It was basically Joe
Smith for Sam Cassell and Ervin Johnson.

Hey guys. Sorry about this spam but I just created a new community
for Wild fans. I promise you it is better than the official message
board at Wild.com.

I hope it lets fans share experiences, thoughts, and pictures as
well appealing to your eye. So we could use some more fans of the
Minnesota Wild.

Not only will it be a Wild Community; but a Minnesota community
also! Check it out please!

http://mnwild.proboards21.com/index.cgi

NOTE - If you are the owner of a Yahoo Group and would like to
convert your board over to the community, let me know and I will
gladly make you a board in the community.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Adam

At least you won once at the house that Shaq built despite an 8-5
disadvantage (counting the referees who were CLEARLY biased towards
the Lakers).

PS: WHO is more deserving of the 32nd NBA franchise:

Baltimore
Pittsburgh
St. Louis
Las Vegas

Alright folks- this is what we've been waiting for, our chance to
shine. Home court advantage in the first round vs. the Losers
(Lakers). We're a lot better team this year and split the season
series with the Losers 2-2. To commemorate I've put together some
cool "Losers" shirts- get'em before the games start on Sunday!

Dick Bremer, Minnesota Twins Fox TV Broadcaster, When talking about
the Chicago Whitesox fans coming on the field and how bad that
was ....

He said that the All Star game shouldn't be taken away from Chicago
because the tickets cost more than 7 dollars and people of that ilk
won't be able to get into the All Star game.

What kind if classless or should I say CLASSIST statement is that?
Please foward to Dick Bremer that he does not represent the poor
class of people in Minnesota and shouldn't make statements concerning
us. Who's to say that the people that jumped on the field weren't
rich???? I happen to not have a whole lot of money but just because
I'm poor don't mean I'm an idiot that jumps on the field. Dick
Bremer and his snobby ass should apologize for that statement! Or is
his rich self too good to apologize to people "below" him?

Yeah, I think they have a good chance of going on, as long as they play as a
team, help each other out, and make shots that shouldnt be missed (free
throws!). Good Luck to the Wolves!!!

Hi all, I just joined your group. I posted a few new pictures from
the Timberwolves Fan fair on Sun. Oct 27, 2002. It was alot of fun
seeing the guys up close, touring the practice court, and weight
room. Not to mention the good sale items purchased at the "garage
sale" during the event.
Looking forward to a great season from the Timberwolves!!
Paula
