We're very similar to New England pictures Chris.
In fact, if you throw in a large number of lakes and northern pine
trees, you have a very good idea of how Minnesota looks in the fall.
It's been beautiful weather here recently.....
It's going to be an odd World Series this year. No New York Yankees
(thank God!) and the Atlanta Braves just never seem to have enough to
get to the big games. Chicago and Houston will be interesting. I'm
hoping that Roger Clemens has one more good run in him. He's been
terrific for so long. I've also aways been a big Jeff Bagwell and
Craig Biggio fan.
Here's a few comments from Marco Jaric's first game against Indiana
(preseason) last night:
n his Minnesota Timberwolves' debut, point guard Marko Jaric started
and played 27 minutes while handing out seven assists, but the Indiana
Pacers got the upper hand for the second time in six days, winning 93-
76 Thursday night at Metrapark Arena.
Jaric, who signed a six-year, $38 million contract in a sign-and-trade
deal between the Timberwolves and Clippers in August, scored the first
Minnesota basket at the 9:41 mark of the first quarter on a driving
layup.
