• Playing highlights: Played for Kentucky's 1978 NCAA championship
team. That team finished 30-2. Casey was a four-year letterwinner.

• With Seattle: Casey was an assistant at Seattle since 1994; he spent
the past two seasons as associate head coach.

• Misc.: He coached Japan's national team in 1998 to its first world
championships appearance in 31 years.
