Re: Thoughts on Wolves upcoming season

That's a tough question (and one I'm sure keeping Kevin McHale up at
night).
For my money, I'd keep these guys:
Kevin Garnett (No way you move him).
Wally Szczerbiak (He's a shooter and a scorer, there aren't many of
them around, he plays hard, and he's the same age as Kevin)
Trenton Hassell (I'm betting last year was an abberation and he'll
rebound into a front line defender).
Fred Hoiberg (A great role player/defender/3-point specialist)
Otherwise, I'd move anyone you can and add pieces around these guys
that rebound, defend, and add overall athleticism.
Frankly, the biggest issue we have is, remove KG, and who do we have at
the 4 or 5 positions (PF and Center) you'd want?

I would like to know what some of your thoughts are on the Upcoming 2005-2006 season. On the coaching situation and who should be traded and who should stay. ...

Thanks for your response. I would agree with the fact of keeping KG, without him in the line up or the roster, I believe all chances of the...

I guess I'll broaden my answer and throw in Sam Cassell as well. The Wolves point guard situation is the second biggest mess they have right now (behind who do...

The Wolves need to keep KG, Hassell, Hudson, Szczerbiak, and Hoiberg. They can get rid of Cassell and Carter. I don't know how long Latrelle Spreewell will...

Lisa, you make an interesting point about Latrell. I'm torn on him. On the one hand, he plays hard defensively and the players respect him. On the other hand,...

I think that the Wolves need to find someone to replace Latrelle Spreewell. He's getting old and he is not consistant enough. He's forever chocking. Don't get...

Finding a replacement for Spree would be ideal. Like you say, he was not playing with consitancy this season. He was very streaky. As a vetran player you...

At least as a starter, I agree with your Spree comments. I disagree about Sam. His game and attitude are all about the "me". His teammates can't stand him. ...

"Sam I am"-thank you Jachests, I agree, Sam forcuses on himself too much as a vetran player. I believe if you can make your teamates look better, you make...

I like that question. For pure playing style, I've always liked Jason Kidd, Eric Snow (I know they're both getting old) and Tony Parker. If I had to name a...
