Re: How many of you think Mystics have something cooking

This is by far the deepest team the Mystics have ever started a season
with. They are at least two deep in every position. The team also was
clearly having fun playing with each other.

For those that lamented the trade of Temeka Johnson, all I can say
is "Nikki Blue." She was fantastic! She put a cross over on Swoopes
that left Sheryl picking up her socks. Give Teasly more time with the
team (only practived for 5 days). I've heard she a Nikki Blue have
been putting on a show checking each other in pratice. Between the two
of them, we've got two outstanding PGs that can distribute the ball -
particularly to the inside - but can also score if the defense gives it
to them.

Barring some major mental let down or multiple injuries, I don't see
the Mystics placing any lower than 3rd in the East - and can serioulsy
challenge for the championship.

... I'd love nothing better than for the Mystics to land a 6'6"-6'7" center - and they are out there. The trouble is finding a player with that height that...
