Team-Up DC

Hurricane Katrina has devastated and displaced hundreds of thousands
of Americans. In the aftermath of this disaster the Washington area
professional sports franchises have joined forces to raise money for
the victims of the hurricane through "Team-Up DC."

Team-Up DC is a drive-thru donation program that will take place at
RFK Stadium Friday, Sept. 9 in parking lot 8 (entrance on
Independence Avenue). Players from the Washington Capitals, D.C.
United, Washington Mystics, Washington Nationals, Washington
Redskins and Washington Wizards will be on hand between 7 a.m. and 3
p.m. to collect monetary donations for the American Red Cross.

We encourage all of our fans to use this event as a means to show
your support! Simply drive through parking lot 8 at RFK Stadium to
drop off your contribution. We thank you in advance for
participating in Team-Up DC and look forward to seeing you Friday.

Please note that due to logistical concerns, only monetary donations
will be accepted at this event. Checks should be made out to the
American Red Cross. Please indicate in the check's note field that
the funds are designated to Katrina Hurricane relief.
