Agree that we should've gotten better for Chamique. Yo would've been
my pick -- and she's only a few years older than DeLisha. She is a
league leader in all sorts of categories, whereas DeLisha is more in
the middle of the pack. I'm hoping that what everyone is saying
about how she'll take off once she's out from under Lisa Leslie's
shadow is true.
Speaking of LL, I'm interested in your comments about her being "Ms.
Homophobia." What are you referring to? I guess as one of the WNBA
stars, she has to walk the feminine and hetero line that the WNBA
embraces in its promo campaigns. Some of the players are so
obviously in drag in those campaigns -- the hair, make-up and cute
little blouses and skirts.
