I think it is a fair sentence due to his
overwhelming ignorance and total disregard for his position in
the league. <br><br>Im sure that Rocker is being
punished due to media pressure, team pressure because he
made nasty comments, and league pressure. I know we
would like to brush this aside and say oh well it aint
that big of a deal etc but it is a deep seeded problem
still in a society that is supposed to be civil. NO I
dont condone Astacio or any of the other people you
spoke on they should be punished as well and IM sure
they are getting counseling ordered by the court. The
reason Rocker was ordered by the league to do so was
because Im sure they cant even fathom a reason why Rocker
would mouth off to a reporter knowing what his
responsibility is to the league and his teammates and all fans
of the game worldwide and statewide. The fact is the
counseling will not do one good for Rocker because his issue
is of blame and a lack of God in his heart otherwise
he would not have been so easy to judge those not
the same as he, as well as to act like he didnt say
the comments then admit on espn that he said
everything. I keep hearing how sorry he is well we all are
sorry when we do something stupid and get caught and
suffer backlash. <br><br>So it you want a cause to fight
for Rocker should not be one of them because he is
just plain ignorant. <br>Besides politically correct
or not has nothing to do with the situation the MLB
is running a business that sells to all races and
all types of people and they should not stand for
such negativity this is totally about job performance
and responsiblity to not damage the league in any
way.. and IM sure Rocker is not stupid enough not to
know that this is not acceptable actions in a league
he gets paid way too much money to play a game in.
Wow all good ole boy has to do is play the game and
not make any comments and he will be handsomely
rewarded. <br><br>In either case, Rocker will probably
welcome the time off so the league and the fans can cool
off from his barrage of bull and maybe just maybe he
will be able to go on with his career. Peace out All!
