If any of you are on thehorse.com forums (I know bigrey is, lol) and have
seen a thread in the hoof care section named "neglected hooves", that's
me and my Justin. If you haven't, the backstory is that about a month ago
I got an uncared-for 10-month old colt with horrid feet. We thought maybe
founder and have been working with our farrier to start trimming back
his "skis". I had the vet out today to look for a suspected abcess and got
some x-rays while we were at it, and...

GREAT NEWS!!! No founder!!! Just a bit of laminitis. I'm so relieved...I
was so worried. Also got his shots and he's ready to be gelded. That's so
much off my shoulders! I just wanted to share my excitement. Everybody
hug your horses for me! :)
