Yes, it was an absolutely glorious day! Spent a lot of the weekend
thwarting the escape attempts of "the fugitive five", five ducks who
absolutely refuse to stay in the pasture/on the pond and would rather
be on my porch/in the road instead. We must have done something
right, there was only one loose this afternoon :)
I also spent a lot of time brushing, especially on the new guys.
Shedding like mad! And Drifter and I took a half-dozen or more
bareback trips around the pasture and down the street to the field full of
daffodils, and we worked on lunging a little. Also tried my hand at
bareback/bridleless in the corral for a few loops, just at a walk. Got so
many great pics on my phone that it didn't even have enough free
memory for me to make a call, lol!
Another nice day today! Just got home and popped online before I go
round up the boys. Two wild geese landed on the pond just as I got
home; first time that's happened! And found out I'm tentatively
scheduled to go to the Year One Experience at Road Atlanta racetrack to
work the autocross in May, that'll be awesome. And if you have car-
guys in your home, keep an eye out for the June issue of Hot Rod
Magazine, I'm in there twice this issue! WOOT! :)
Hope everyone had as relaxing a weekend as I did. Nothing like a
bareback jaunt, barefoot, on your favorite horse in the sunshine. :)
