I posted the first message but failed to tell you anything about me.
=)

I'm married with two wonderful daughters. They're teenagers so at
times I want to shoot them but for the most part, they're good
girls. The youngest is horse-addicted like myself and the oldest
will have nothing to do with them.

We have three horses right now. Hannah is 28 yr old QH mare that is
the offical pasture ornament. She taught my daughter to ride and
took care of her through her first 4-H year and first parade. Now
she just gets spoiled. Vance is a 6 yr old QH/Arab gelding. Started
out as my horse but has turned in to my daughters horse now. Its
obvious who has his heart. They have a close bond that I just love
to see! Then there's Apache, 7 yr old paint gelding, who we just got
this spring. We're still in the bonding stage and again, the weather
sure hasn't helped anything!

Besides horses, we have a pot belly pig that was abandoned on the
side of the road. My daughter chased him down in a 100 acre field
while my hubby laughed himself silly! Said it was like watch Rocky
chase the chicken. LOL He is now my hubby's pride and joy. We also
have two outside dogs that were homeless and adopted us. Then there
are the two dogs inside, a cat and finally the ferret.

We like to trail ride with me and my daughter on horses and my hubby
on his mountain bike. It's a nice compromise. For years, he wanted
me to ride a bike with him. I told him I'd rather be riding the
horse! So now we're both happy. =) My daughter plays around with 4-
H where besides the horse she also shows swine, goats and sheep.

Enough about me, I can't wait to see this board grow and meet new
friends!!!
