Hello Everyone,

What a great week of A's baseball! 3 out of 4 from those lousy ReD
Sox (and their lousy fans) and a sweep of the Giants with two shut-
outs. It does not get any better than that!

There are two events this week for The Green Stampede.

1. End of the School Year Tailgate Party this Friday versus the St.
Louis Cardinals. Parking Lot B at 5:30. We are pleased that
ChefBoyardean will be back and behind the grills, Liquid Sound DJ's
will also be back and we are very proud to have this tailgate
sponsored by DRAKES Beer from San Leandro!!! (21 and over of
course) We will also have some Hamms Beer as well for those who
usually enjoy that fine fare. Drakes is a local brewery that
supports non-profits and community related events. Last years
sponsorship was our best tailgate party of the year. In addition,
this will be the last tailgate party until August so don't miss it!

2. On Saturday June 16, The Green Stampede will be working at
Arroyo Park in East Oakland in beautifying the creek there. This
creek ends up in the Estuary and the Bay and is an important stream
that runs through the heart of East Oakland. Please come to Arroyo
Park from 10-12 and lend a hand. What a way to spend your Saturday
the day after a tailgate!
