Happy New Year everyone!

Hopefully everyone had a safe holidays and now you are preoccupied
with getting ready for this season. There are only five weeks until
pitchers and catchers report.

On a down note, I don't know how people feel about Zito going to the
Giants, but I look at it as another slap in the face to Oakland
fans. Did anyone else feel his "press conference" was similar to
Jason Giambi's when he joined the Yankees? Maybe I am being overly
dramatic, but his comment about "crossing the Bay bridge" to a new
life was disgusting. Also, the San Francisco media gushing all over
him was riduculous as well. Anyway, I will be booing Zito when he
comes over during interleague play.

BOARD MEETING

The Green Stampede's annual Board Meeting is taking place on Friday
January 26 at 7:00 PM. The place is the usual meeting spot at 1450
Fruitvale Ave at Mi Linda Mazatlan

We are redoing our website and we should have an update at that
point. In addition, we have Two Board seats open as well as most of
our Department Head Positions and the officer positions of Treasurer
