Hello Everyone,

With 25 games to go the A's have a 6.5 game lead. Hopefully the A's
can close it out and get to the playoffs! (I have my playoff tix
already)

I wanted to give some quick updates.

TUTORING PROGRAM

Just a reminder, there will be tutoring today at the Coliseum. The
students and staff will be able to get their bobblehead dolls as well
as get their homework done. Happy Birthday to Boardmember and Tutor
Natalie Soto!!

TAILGATE PARTY

The Last tailgate party of the year will be next Friday, September 15
versus the Chicago Whitesox. We will have three groups performing:
Trackstar, Firestorm, and Bong in addition to Liquid Sound DJs. We
will also feature speeches by local politicians, Chef Boyardean, and
A's activists. ALso, The Green Stampede is hosting a special raffle
for a brand-new guitar. Our good friend Jeff Cree (lead singer of
Firestorm) is donating the guitar in order to raise money for the
Tutoring Program. Tix are only a dollar and can be purchased by

We will also have a raffle at the tailgate party. Thanks Jeff,
loving you brother!

BOARD MEETING

The next Green Stampede Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday
September 12 at 7 PM at Mi Linda Mazatlan Restaurant (1450 Fruitvale
Blvd.) We have lots to discuss including the potential return of a
Haunted House Project!
