Hello Everyone,
Even though Wednesday was a tough game (we lost by two touchdowns),
special thanks to Esteban Loaiza and the A's Amigos program. The
A's Amigos program gives Spanish-Speaking A's fans the opportunity
to hang out with a Spanish-speaking A's player. A's Pitcher Esteban
Loaiza, who is originally from Tijuana, Mexico spoke with Green
Stampede students and staff in the dugout before Tuesday night's
game. All of the Green Stampede students were able to sit in the
A's dugout before the game and talk to Loaiza. The A's gave the
students A's hats and Loaiza signed autographs for everyone.
Special thanks to Green Stampede Board Member Melissa Fortenberry
Williams for organizing the event with the A's. Muchisimas Gracias
Melissa, Loaiza, and the Oakland A's!
