Nah, no way this deal is going to happen. If the A's
had any plans to trade Zito, they would have done it
before the 2005 season started. Barry help out the
pitching staff and is back to his Cy Young form, maybe
even better. Barry will be signed long term.

As far as getting a right handed bat, Mike Piazza is
someone I can see the A's bring in to DH. He's at the
point now that he really can't play the catching
postion anymore(besides, we have Kendell there nearly
every damn game since he can catch a whole season) and
we saw who bad the 1st base expertment was as well, so
he would be mainly used as our DH. He still has pop
and as long as he doesn't get hurt, he should put up
near 30+ and that as well would take some presure off
Chavez shoulder's as well.
