Hello A's Fans,

As you may have heard, shortstop Bobby Crosby was named the American
League's Rookie of the Year. He follows in the great tradition of
Canseco, McGwire, Weiss, and Grieve as Oakland Rookie's of the Year.

In any event, i also wanted to thank everyone for the tremendous help
for last week's Halloween Party. We estimated about 450 people came
to the event and a lot of hard work was done by all. Thanks to Sean
Dobbins, Mikey Victoria, Valeska Estrada, Barbara Henry, and Susan
Carroll, Geoff Matsumoto, Dean Fajardin, Jeanette Parker, Carlos
Reynoso, Ray Hazel, Ken Stickney, Laura Bravo, Marc Maxkintosh, Angel
Guerrero, and Ted Stalcup for all of the help during the evening,
setting up and cleaning up. Special thanks to Jerveece and Danielle
for putting all of the sumptuous feast together. Also thanks to
Nicki, Troy, and Corrine for helping out a lot as well. Joel Cruz
did the fine printing and Liquid Sound DJs sounded tremendous as
well. "The People" had the house rocking and even brought out a few
neighbors from their homes. :) All in All a good time was had.
There will be a wrap-up meeting this Friday Evening at 11 PM at
Applebee's in Hayward. Anyone with any comments about our 5th Annual
