Thank you to all who came to the final Green Stampede tailgate party
of the year last wednesday. Ted Lilly pitched great (it was our
first tailgate party victory) and the A's are looking solid. Thanks
go to everyone who came out and enjoyed the good food and music.
Special thanks as always go to Liquid Sound DJ's who kept the music
going on a warm night in Oakland up till the 8th inning. Special
thanks also go to Harry Dobbins from our Sacramento Chapter for
making keys (and money for The Green Stampede). If for some reason
your key is not working, let me know and I will take care of it.

Special thanks go to Cathy Bullard and Chefboyardean our tailgate
coordinators for making it all happen. Also thanks to our secretary
Carlos Reynoso who donated the burgers and chicken fajitas. Our Vice-
President J-lee convinced the crowd to make donations and purchase
Green Stampede attire. Thank you to Ted, Mark, Balistic Bill, Ray,
jeanette, Geoff, Danny, Claudia, Natalie, Mario, John, Matt, and all
else who helped out.

Thanks to Cyndi for doing a great job of keeping the website going.
You will be able to view pictures from the tailgate party and the
visit by outfielder Billy McMillan shortly.

Finally, thanks to all who entered the dip contest. It was a very
contested decision, but the judges voted in favor of Jen and Erin's 7-
layer dip. Erika's spinach and artichoke dip and Rick's guacamole
were very close seconds, however. Fantastic!
