The A's have just dropped their third series in a row to a National
League team...this isn't funny anymore.

At least everyone had a good time at the tailgate party on Wednesday
June 11. Over 100 A's fans braved the lousy weather to enjoy A's
baseball at The Green Stampede tailgate party. The old school music,
by Liquid Sounds DJs, was excellent as was the great bbq chicken,
links, and burgers (sold to us at a discount by Pringle Meats in
Oakland). Thanks to members of Raiderfanradio.net for being in
attendence and turning the Stampede tailgate into a tailgate for all
Oakland Sports (There were Warrior fans there also).

Special thanks to tailgate co-cordinators Dean and Cathy for getting
everything organized. Also thanks to Dean and Mark for cooking up
all of the great food. Special thanks to Manny and Carlos for
getting the budweiser beer (it tastes a lot better than Hamms), Matt
for getting the ice, Vicky Bullard for finishing up the new Green
Stampede sign, and the set-up and clean-up crew: Angel, John,Carlos,
Mario, Ray, Jeanette, Balistic Bill and everyone else. We greatly
appreciate the help and support.

Thanks to all who bought t-shirts as well. :)

The winner, by overwhelming popular demand, of the salsa making
contest was yours truly (it might have also been the fact that I was
the only one who entered the salsa contest.) I win absolutely
nothing.

the website so get them to her.

A new tailgate party has been added for next friday June 20, against
our favorite team, the giants. Same place and time.

There will also be a Casino Night on June 28, 2003. Tickets are
going fast and are only $5 for Green Stampede members.

The following tailgate party, July 2 will be a great way to kick-off
the 4th of July weekend. In addition to the good times, The Green
Stampede office in Sacramento(run by Harry Dobbins) will be
sponsoring a fund raiser to get your favorite team's logo on an
embossed key. You can have your key (he will be cutting them in the
parking lot) with your favorite team (as of now we will have A's,
Raiders, Warriors,and 49ers keys) for only $4.95. All profits will
go to the Green Stampede. If you have another team that you would
