Wow,

13-2 was not the way that Mulder and the A's wanted to start the
interleague campaign, but it is just 1 loss. Also, congratulations to Eric
Byrnes for a great 22 game hit streak. it ended tonight, but is the 3rd
longest in Oakland A's history (Jason Giambi and Carney Lansford had
longer ones)

TAILGATE PARTY

Next Wednesday June 11 will be the next tailgate party. Liquid Sound
DJ's will be in the house along with all of the great BBQ from pringle
meats. The contest will be a revised Salsa making contest where Chef
Rick will defend his mango-shrimp Chutney. Be sure to get your tickets
in advance because it should be a huge crowd with the Atlanta Braves in
town. Check the website for more details.

CASINO Night

The Green Stampede will be co-hosting a casino night in order to raise
money for the Fall Tutoring program. Saturday June 28 at St. Paschal's
church in Oakland. More details to follow.
