It was a great turnout even though the A's dropped a tough one
and the weather wasn't more hospitable. Congratulations to the
winner of the salsa contest. Rick's mango-shrimp chutney was
all of the rage. Rick wins an official Green Stampede T-shirt and
beanie as well as an A's calender. Boy Rick, aren't you glad you
can retire now?

Thanks to all who attended and helped out. Special thanks to
Liquid Sound DJ's, Gil who took many of the photos, and Pringle
Meats for their usual delicious faire.

Don't forget, tonight is the opening on-air of A's Fan Radio live
from La Estrellita Restaurant on 5th Avenue and E 12th Street in
Oakland. We will be airing the show live from 9 PM to 11 PM.
The special guest will be Ms. Catherine Howard, an A's fan and
writer from SF Gate Weekly.
