Hello Chris, Greens Stampede and any one else who gets
this e-mail. I would like to invite you all to one
very fun party and great benefit. As some of you may
know, one of our fellow Raider fans Griz Jones had
recently (super bowl day) been hit by an SUV and
suffered a shattered pelvis as well as other injuries
as he exited the game. The driver never stopped. As
you can imagine his ongoing medical bills will
probably be overwhelming and given the fact that he
has no medical we (Raider fan brothers and sisters)
have decided to throw a benefit party to raise
whatever money we can to help out in any way as family
takes care of family. If you had the chance to meet
Griz you would do the same as he is one special
person....Anyhow, the party will be at the Longbranch
Saloon in San Leandro (1681 Washington Ave
510-352-6853). The BBQ starts at 3pm with live
entertainment starting at 4. 4 to 8pm will included
Raider cover band Raiderhead, a local rap group called
Local Villians (featuring Young T & Doobie), Comedian
Big Al and maybe more as this grass roots effort
continues to grow. 8pm till closing (2am) is when the
party really heats up with Black Hole DJ Noor
providing music to dance to. benefit charge is $7 with
all proceeds going to Griz's fund. So hopefully we
will see you there and Please feel free to pass this
e-mail around to your personal lists. The more who
shows, the more we can raise. If anyone out there has
ideas to add or can provide additional entertainment
please let me know...Thank you all in advance....
