A's Fan Radio - the internet show modled after "Raiderfanradio.com" got a step
closer to fruition
today. We spoke with the owner of La Estrellita Restaurant and Bar on 5th
Avenue and East 12th
(near Laney college) and he loved the idea. The next step is to put the
hardware and equipment into
place and the show will happen. The target date to launch the show will be on
Thursday May 1 (the
A's will be in Chicago) from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Don't forget, the last general board meeting before the season will be on Friday
MARCH 7 (sorry
Xavier) at 7:00 PM at St. Paschal's Church Gym. The meeting will only last
about an hour.
Refreshments, the new 2003 Stampede t-shirts, and the opportunity to buy season
tickets with
the "Stampede Discount" will be available.

Also be sure to mark your calenders for March 15 for our first annual Green
Stampede St. Patrick's
Day Party. This will be probably our only fundraiser for the year. It will
allow us to fund the tutoring
program, radio show, and to keep the tailgate parties free, so please support
the cause. In addition,
Sister Sharon Casey (the Dean at Holy Names College) is bringing a number of
students from her
college, so it should be a good time had by all.
