Thanks. It was an awesome time. I still can't believe he remembered me after 4
months. I mean I thought he might recognize me after seeing me so many times
last year but when he actually did I was very happy. :) I must of made some
kind of impression. :)
Did you get to see the picture?

Yes, I e-mailed the security guard. My friend and I met him at ST. He was
everywhere at City of Palms. He gave us his e-mail and phone number so we could
keep in touch. He also drove us to the airport so we could stay longer.
When we called him from the airport he was on his way to the clubhouse. Told
him to tell my boy I said hi. :)
So I figured I'd ask him to tell Billy Happy Birthday for me. Wasn't sure if
Billy would remember my name but he does know my face. I had also left a card
for Billy in the office for him.

Yes, it is a boy. The baby's name is Ashton Drake. I don't know exactly when
he was born but it was sometime after the WS. I'll look for a copy of the
article. I'm sure I have it saved somewhere.
Did I post my ST adventures here?

I had not read that! Congratulations to Bill and Amy and their
family! I saw an interview with Billy on CN8 last night and, in
reference to the baby I thought he had said, "he," though I was not
fully positive! Didn't Billy refer to the baby as "a second
daughter" last Spring Training? Oops! :)
Also, does anybody have a copy of this article, PLEASE? I'd love to
see it for myself. Thanks! SmeeBig7 (smeebig7)/Billy's Gal.

Billy has 2 children. His daughter will be 2 in January and he has a newborn.
Well, his wife was due to have the baby anytime as of Saturday. Have not heard
if she had the baby or whether it is a boy or girl. Although, someone heard it
was going to be a boy.

**** I have nothing but admiration for someone so committed to his family.
I hope there is something when she has the baby. I want to be able to send a
congratulations card.

That sounds familiar. I was across the street from 2 Center Plaza. There
was also a CVS pharmacy across the street from us. We left my friends house at
4am. The T didn't start running til 5:15am.

Pardon me, but how on Earth did you meet Bill's parents and their dog
AT THEIR HOME? Do you have connections? That's lucky! SmeeBig7

Me, too, I missed him too. I am sure he would have wanted him to be
there, and inside I'm sure that Amy feels badly that he couldn't be
there for such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The birth of a baby
is a once-in-a-lifetime event though, also! I sincerely admire

Let's see, I am trying to think of the name. Does 3 Center Plaza
sound right? We were near the end of the parade and across from "The
New York Soup Exchange". We were in our spots by 5:20 AM. SmeeBig7
