OMG I could write stories with everything that happened this season. I
actually got one of the autographs last season and another at the Boston
Baseball Writer's dinner in January. I got most of them during the 2nd half of
the
season.

I got the first one this season right before the All-Star break. I had made
a sign for Billy that said 'Billy You are My All-Star'. He got a big smile
when he saw that and signed it for me. The girl standing next to me said
to him 'You have to sign that for her, she's so in love with you.' Not sure
if he heard or not.

Throughout the rest of the season he has signed 2 photos, his rookie card, a
flip book, and he signed a baseball for me. He also threw me a baseball. I
would try to make him a sign whenever I could. I had signs that said:
'Bill Mueller, The Whole Package', 'Bill Mueller's #1 Fan', 'Tickets to
40+games
= $1500 * Miles = 6000 * A Hug from Billy = Priceless', and I was lucky to
attend a game on my birthday and had a sign that said 'Billy, today is my 30th
Birthday. Can I have a hug?'

He was great. He signed for me all the time. Not once did I not get
something signed that I wanted. And he only stopped for me. I mean he signed
for others but not at that time. He would look, see what I had, stop then head
in to the clubhouse. The best part was I didn't just hand him something to
sign. Instead of just throwing something to him I'd climb on top of the
dugout and hand it to him. And got to talk to him even if for a few seconds.
He'd ask me how I was doing. I'd thank him and he's give me a huge smile
and say no problem. :) A few times I called him hun or babe. Didn't seem
to bother him. I didn't plan to call him hun or babe, it just kind of
slipped out. My friends even told it was obvious he knew who I was.
