Heya! I just want to toss in my 2 cents' worth - I'M
terribly happy, 'cos I finally broke down and got the
Adelphia MLB package... first game I got to see on it?
Friday's Brewers-disAstreaux game! Okay, so they
lost, but it was a good game - and getting to see
Geoff was FANTASTIC! The really neat thing was that I
ALSO finally got my life-sized growth chart of Geoff
the same day (now up on my office wall) - I SHOULD
have it in a solid platinum frame in a vault, though,
considering the bidding war I got into on eBay over it
*LOL*.
Also love that you get to see the LOCAL commercials,
so there were even more glimpses of The Jenkster
besides on the game.
Neat to see the young talent in Lyle Overbay and Gary
Bennett... I'm nowhere near Milwaukee, so it's hard
to get Brews News, but now I can see them for myself,
and I'm impressed (my girlfriend says that Overbay
looks like Geoff's kid brother *LOL*).
Okay... confession time - I'm actually a lifelong
Yankees fan - born/raised there, though not living in
NYC right now - BUT, I DESPISE A-dud, so I have to
replace them... don't like the Indians or any of the
other AL teams, so my two fave teams are the Cubbies
and the Brewers now. Problem is, can't mix jackets
and caps any more (not hard to wear both Yankees and
Cubs stuff together, but Cubs/Brewers? Not possible!
:D). Guess I'll just have to try and find a good
spring Brewers jacket.
Okay, I'll shut up now :)

I am quite happy myself. I don't think there are, but let's hope the
Brewers don't have any trades up their sleeves. It'd also be great
if Jenkins can stay healthy this season and put up Sexson's numbers
with a .300 batting average.
Geoff is staying with the Brewers!!! i love it!!! 3 years w/2008
option!!! we can all relax now and look forward to spring training
and the upcoming season.
Check out this place for Auctions and Fixed price Sales (No
listing fee).
I personally liked the AUTO-RELIST UNTIL SOLD option.

For the 2004 season, the Brewers are running a season ticket special
on terrace reserved seats, buy 2 get 2 free.
I was hoping to get enough people together to take advantage of this
great deal. The price for 4 seats would be $1300. If I could get at
least 7 others to go in with me, you could get 4 seats for 10 games
for $162.50.
If you'd only be interested in 5 games, that would be $81.25.
Despite their off-season bungles, this is still a phemonenal deal.
Respond if you're interested. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you
think might be interested.

No his looks have not changed at all since we were in school together. I
was a cheerleader and he played football, baseball. We were really close
until junior year in high school. I will definitely try to post some pics
from our yearbooks.

Yeah that would be pretty cool if someone could do that, even though
it seems like his looks haven't changed since he was a rookie.

Melinda - That's outstanding! Hey... maybe, could you post some pix
of him from your yearbooks? I'd love to see what he looked like in

succeed.!!

I last saw Geoff when he was 8 years old. He and Brett and their
dad played catch and batting practice across the street. It's been
fun watching Geoff and Brett's professional career in baseball.
I've lost touch with his parents, Jack and Patty. But I was all of
you, your whole family, the very best. Remember the spas in front
of our house? Anyway, I used my entire families' birthdates, zip
codes, and email addresses to cast 260 votes for Geoff. I'm sure
all of you fans were doing the same!! Barbara Shook
last nights game was great. i sat amongst twins fans and they were
in amazement! since mn fans are always sore losers they all cleared
out early (they knew they were losing ) so i got front row! what a
game!
I agree w/ you Justin on that one. It definitely sucked that it had
to happen in Milwaukee. The Brewers were bad enough. It would have
been nice to have one nice thing to look back upon. Not that the All-
Star game was entirely bad, but ya know. Anyways...It sure sucks
having Geoff get injured every year. Hopefully he'll have better
luck next year. Brewers will need him if they want to improve upon
this year.
Personally it was the last straw for me. I am so sick of this BS. Be
a man grow up and play to the end. And in Milwaukee none the less.
Boy did that publicity back fire on the city. Bud Selig has to go.
Since he took over stuff has become way worse. Another strike during
his chance at commisioner is pathetic. Why can't baseball follow the
salary cap rules of football. Atleast that sport has its shit
togther. Major League Baseball is a joke now. What a bunch of cry
babies.

Yeah Jenkins dislocated his ankle running back to third base about a
week or two ago. He's out for the year. Disappointing, but that's
how it goes sometimes. He had been playing great defense and looked
as though he was just about to break out hitting.
You're right. It is sad. But for a team that's on the bottom of the
MLB food chain, it's what you can expect until some sort of profit
sharing between ballclubs occurs.
You know for a team that actually seemed to have more promising
talent besides Sheets, Jenkins, and Sexon they suck worse than last
year. The whole Jamey Wright deal. Pitchers don't become healthy in 3
weeks. Davey knew he was injured and he still had him pitch. I
seriously hope Lopez is canned by All Star break. Glendon Rusch has
been a pleasant suprise so far. Quevado never should have made the
team. I mean he has pitched 2 game and never made it out of the
fourth inning in either. Now I am becoming absolutely disgruntle. I
have followed them since I was a kid and now it is just a joke.
Although I do really like that Ochoa is back and that Alex Sanchez is
their starting center fielder. I think that Hammonds is pretty
worthless until he is fully healthy. Another thing I have been
wondering is why don't they cut or ship fat ass Belliard back to the
minors so he can work of basics? Why is it that every year health is
what screws the Brewers pitching staff over? Ok I am done venting my
frustrations.
