Heya! I just want to toss in my 2 cents' worth - I'M
terribly happy, 'cos I finally broke down and got the
Adelphia MLB package... first game I got to see on it?
Friday's Brewers-disAstreaux game! Okay, so they
lost, but it was a good game - and getting to see
Geoff was FANTASTIC! The really neat thing was that I
ALSO finally got my life-sized growth chart of Geoff
the same day (now up on my office wall) - I SHOULD
have it in a solid platinum frame in a vault, though,
considering the bidding war I got into on eBay over it
*LOL*.
Also love that you get to see the LOCAL commercials,
so there were even more glimpses of The Jenkster
besides on the game.
Neat to see the young talent in Lyle Overbay and Gary
Bennett... I'm nowhere near Milwaukee, so it's hard
to get Brews News, but now I can see them for myself,
and I'm impressed (my girlfriend says that Overbay
looks like Geoff's kid brother *LOL*).
Okay... confession time - I'm actually a lifelong
Yankees fan - born/raised there, though not living in
NYC right now - BUT, I DESPISE A-dud, so I have to
replace them... don't like the Indians or any of the
other AL teams, so my two fave teams are the Cubbies
and the Brewers now. Problem is, can't mix jackets
and caps any more (not hard to wear both Yankees and
Cubs stuff together, but Cubs/Brewers? Not possible!
:D). Guess I'll just have to try and find a good
spring Brewers jacket.
Okay, I'll shut up now :)
