hmmmm. Now that you say this I think it was acting funny the other
week when I looked at it. I was trying to view a menu of what was on
but couldnt get to it. I know they were touting a new 'viewer' that
has Fast forward and rewind on it. Maybe we just need to download the
new viewer. I will check it out and let you know what I find.

Guys,
I just signed up and having no problems - I'm sure I got the new viewer
so maybe the old viewer is the problem - pretty cool actually - will we
be able to watch the TDF?(for a price I'm sure).

Anyone interested in riding the Wilderness 101 up at State College
(7/30). I buddy of mine (Dan Gingerich) and I signed up last week.
Here's a link for info:
http://www.mtntouring.com/mountain/htm/home/page_home.htm
Should be nothin' for the crew riding to the beach the week
before....good recovery ride......
They have camping available Friday and Saturday nights (included with
the entry fee of $115) - I'll be going up Friday afternoon.....
Weave
Skip,
Unfortunately (or fortunately - it is vacation) , my family is in the
Outer Banks the week before and get back late Saturday night - I might
be able to make it up for the hill climb Sunday morning - anyone know
if I could register for that event on that Sunday morning? - I'd hate
to commit and not be able to make it.
Weave
the home screen comes up and says the player should apear in another window. if
not click here(before it would apear on its own). I click on that, and the next
screen comes up. There is no picture or schedule , but all the icons are there.
the only thing i can do is change the colors when i click on them. I can't even
get "scotland, majestic and free, and a little bit wild!".

I doubt they will have TDF. It cost $$$ to get coverage rights.
They seem to mostly have cyclocross, some mtb and semi classic road
races. we will see...

I,m planning on doing a night ride at spring valley on sunday. The
ride will be dirt and "country paved" roads.I do a loop that usually
lasts 1:20 and has 4 good climbs. I was planning on doing 2 laps
starting at 8pm from the crossroads parking lot. I thought this would
be good for anyone doing the night itt or ole bull.
p.s. skip, if you think there is a problem with the parks closing at
dusk let me know
Hey Jason,
The roads through Spring Valley are all public roads so you should be
fine riding on them at night as far as the Parks are concerned. Just be
careful on the roads with all of the kids that play down there after
dark on their 4 wheelers, monster trucks, etc.

I tried to get on today and it said I need java script or that my
computer has it disabled. How do I get it or enable it? I'm not good
with computers. Any help would be apreciated!
I have an extra light if someone needs it. I also will rent my light
system to anyone who wants to do the nitt at marysville. For a mere $5
you can rent a vistalite nighstick with two nicad batteries, and 5 and
15 watt lights ! One for the helmet and one fo tha bars. I also have a
thumb switch if your to lazy lazy to reach 6 inches.
Jason,
If your using IE for your browser, you can go to Tools/Internet
Options/Advance Tab - and search down the list for a check box that
enables Java scripts - I'm not sure for the exact phrase, but you
should be able to recognise it - hope this helps - I'm at the Outer
Banks this week, and can help you more when I get back to York...
Hope this helps....
later,
Tim

Thanks to all that came out to Marysville yesterday! I believe we had
10 Cycle Works Team members on hand and even though I couldn't stick
around for the results, it sounds like everyone did well! A special
thanks go out to Dusty Gordon for passing me my water bottles each lap-
it was greatly appreciated!
I would like to try to do another race where we have the majority of
the Team (23 people on this year's roster) come out for the event. How
about the Susquehanna Scorcher on 8/07? It would be really cool to get
15-20 Cycle Works Team members out for a race!
See ya on the trails,
Skip
I will be at the Scorcher. -S

Oh, we're not worried. It was pretty evident that everyone suffered
regardless of the class they raced in.
I had a great time except for that bee stinging me in the butt.
Thanks to everyone for cheering me on! Except for the person who was
calling me "Mr. Stauffer", that's my dad :>)

Is anyone else planning to race at Fair Hill??
-------------------------
2005 Fair Hill Cross Country Classic
We're planning another great cross-country mountain bike race at Fair
Hill Natural Resources Management Area in lovely Fair Hill Maryland on
Sunday, July 17, 2005. The rain date is set for Sunday, August 21, 2005.
This will be our 10th year of operation. We have become perhaps the
best regional event on the East Coast. This years event has no series
affiliation. It is a return to grassroots racing. We will have
categories for Beginner-First Time through Expert in almost all age
brackets.
The course consists of no laps - just miles and miles of beautiful
singletrack (90%) trails in a 5600 acre park. Much of this year's
course has never been raced before. Lots of rolling trail with a few
new climbs. Pro, Expert, and Sport classes will all race the same
loop. You will know just how fast you are--sandbaggers will standout!
Past participation has ranged from 300 to 700 racers. A map of this
years course can be found here.
Approximate Course Distances:
Expert/Pro: 24 mi.
Sport: 24 mi.
Beginners: 16 mi.
Sorry, can't make Fairhill but I plan to be at The Curse of Dark
Hollow.
