You know the Pope/Messiah, the Ruthian type figure who would have "saved" the
whole Cub season.
I do not buy that the Cubs would even be one game better off in the standings if
we kept DeRosa over Bradley. Unless opposing managers would let him hit for
Soriano, Fontenot, Bradley's spot, Soto, Lee's early in the year, and Ramirez's.
I remember when DeRosa was signed, and almost everyone, everywhere laughed at
the signing. Two years later he has God like status in the groups, and media.
I liked DeRosa. He always said the right thing, and seemed like a stand up guy.
But we went 0-6 with DeRosa in the playoffs.
Now he is a Cardinal, and I do not have anything nice to say about anyone on the
Cardinals at this time. As a matter of fact, Fudge Mr. Derosa and his red
uniform wearing self!

Not sure what Pope John Paul has to do with it, but DeRosa's injury is
neither here nor there- any more than Aramis's injury would have
justified Hendry if he'd traded him for a taped-up ball and a broken bat
the way he did DeRosa.
