I will be the first to admit I was only 50/50 on getting Mark DeRosa
(probably because I am a big Theriot fan and always liked Izturis). I
am really happy that I was wrong about the guy. He has been one of the
true catalysts this season from day 1 and I hope he continues to give
us the versatility to move guys and rest guys without fear of the
offence dropping off.
Gold Star for Hendry on that move.

Not sure what Pope John Paul has to do with it, but DeRosa's injury is neither here nor there- any more than Aramis's injury would have justified Hendry if...
You know the Pope/Messiah, the Ruthian type figure who would have "saved" the whole Cub season. I do not buy that the Cubs would even be one game better off in...
Should it be mentioned that DeRo is a FA at the end of the year? I know we don't like the Cards players, but unlike most of the roster Mark didn't choose to go...
I'm sure De Rosa didn't want to be traded by the Indians any more than he wanted to be traded by the Cubs, and for a bunch of minor leaguers no less. The fact...
Ummm I will never cheer for a Cardinal. I did not for Sutter, or Smith, and I certainly will not for DeRosa. He is now an enemy whether he wanted to be or not....
