With the you know what hitting the fan on steroids in the last day,
it is going to be virtually impossible now to trade Sosa anywhere.
The Mets were already leaning against the idea before the news hit,
now anyone who is questionable will be impossible to move.

Looks like the Cubs will be stuck with him for one more year. As I
have said in the past, the Cubs will never win anything with Sosa,
and that extends to 2005.

As far as I know Sammy Sosa has not been mentioned in the Balco hearings... so I dont think his reputation will take as much damage as Bonds' or Giambi's. I...

... No, but the rumors have been flying all year...especially after Sammy's numbers fell off so dramatically the first year they were testing. We had several...

In this case, whether Sammy is guilty or not, it is going to be more difficult than ever to trade him, because of the possibility. I am not guaranteeing that...

I agree that Sosa's reputation won't take the same hit as Bonds' or Giambi's. There now two reasons the Cubs can't trade Sosa the 'roids and his contract....

I agree with about everything people have said. Sosa and Giambi's career have almost become mirrors of each other. If i was a GM for another team, there is no...

I don't agree. Sammy has always been a pain in the neck, but we tolerated it when Sammy was putting up those terrific numbers, because his contributions...

He had an off year. I don't agree he is a liability in RF. Never will win a Gold Glove, but he saved one game in September with a fantastic catch. If he will...

Sammy has had a *couple* of down years. Ever since all the talk of steroids began a few years ago...remember when he came into Spring Training a few years back...

Unfortunately, that's a big "if." I just don't see him having much discipline at the plate. He seemed to work best under Jeff Pentland and hasn't been the...

I tolerated almost liked Sosa for awhile when he put great numbers. Now I could really care less what the Cubs do with him after walking out on the team at...
