Good to have a rough contemporary among us, though I
didn't actually get interested in baseball till 1957.
I agree about the comparison between '84 and last
year...though it took me a while to realize that the
'84 team had been a one-year wonder.

Anyway...welcome aboard!

Ive always felt that the 84 cubs were nothing more than a one year wonder. We had 3 everyday starters pushing 40 years of age (Bowa,Cey,Matthews) and Bobby...
