Description

Welcome to Yahoo's ORIGINAL and most active Cubs community! Unlike other groups, this one was built, not by our going out and recruiting members, but by our members coming to US!

Do the names Kenny Hubbs, Ernie Broglio and Jack Brickhouse bring a tear to your eye? Do the names Hartnett, Wilson, Banks, Sandberg and Sosa make your blood stir? Then you're in the right place! Join your fellow Cub fans as we share the memories, gripe about the present, and look forward to the inevitable, glorious moment when the World Championship pennant will be hoisted for the first time above that manual scoreboard we all know and love so well at Wrigley Field.

For Jack Quinlan, for Lou Boudreau, for Jack Brickhouse, for Vince Lloyd and Lloyd Pettit, for Harry Caray, and for us all...GO CUBS!

Re: Cubs Fans
No, I'd say it's being realistic. Except the times when we want to disembowel ourselves in April, that is. --Rev. Robert Waters aka Pastor Bob CubsFan4Life
