Well Dallas made it all the way to the golf course to join our
Boston Bruins ! Carolina did sweep Montreal after losing the 1st two
games in the series . They sure got a slap in the face and a wake up
call .

So now Montreal is using the eye injury of Saku Koivu and his loss
the reason for there defeat ! How dare the Boston Bruins complain
about the loss of Joe Thornton with his broken ribs in the 2004
series aagainst Montreal ?

Any way regardless Montreal is off to the greens with there dreams
dashed as the power is turned off . Three home games for Montreal in
the playoffs 3 losses ! Our Boston Bruins would have had the same
faith.

I have always had the feeling that the NHL refs work hand in hand with owners
behind the scenes to try and get theses series to the maximum amount of games to
bring in the most revenues . It is far more productive for a series to go 7
games than 4 monetarily . Suddenly refs aren't seeing what they thought they
were seeing in regular season games In other words what you don't see , I
won't tell. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! Just take the money and lets
run Poor poor Jacobs and Delaware North on the outside looking in because the
Jacobs are committed ! Right ! Gosh I couldn't resist !

As far as Jagr his injury was self inflicted. He took a swing at (not

Most interesting to see how well Buffalo has handled Flyers. Does anyone think
Sabres will get the Cup. I am amazed at Dallas, watched game 3 last night and
barely heard Madano's name at all. They seem to be blaming their goalie, and he
has made some mistakes but I doubt the 3-0 record is all his fault ...

I must say that the playoffs are pretty interesting at this point. Ott leading
Tam 2-1, eventhough Mtl is up on Car 2-0, I think Car will still play them tough

NJ just may sweep NYR.

I know I'm a bit late for this, thereby affecting my credibility should
I get this right, but I predict Montreal or NJ in the East and Calgary
in the West. The East team will win the Cup.
I felt this way before the playoffs started, for what it's worth...

The B's should've kept Pat Burns while they had the chance. But then again, why
would a good coach like Pat want to coach a team with an owner that does not
give a flying rats behind?

I still think Sullivan is a good coach, but for some reason, the players are
playing with much inconsistency. Again, we also have the lack of good talent in
some spots. Everyone knows that Bergeron was great this year, but what about
next??? They should never've traded Thornton point blank. Thomas and Toivonen
are pretty good goalies, but the team lacks good defense.

Mike Sullivan

Well it is over ! Thank goodness ! The Boston Bruins ended the season losing 11
of their remaining 13 regular season games . 9 of those losses were by 1 goal .
They don't ask by how many . they ask if you won or lost .

This brings about some interesting points about our Bruins head coach.

After he retired from the NHL as a player in 2002 he became the coach of the
Providence Bruins for 1 season and then promoted to coach of the Boston Bruins .
In his first season as coach of the Boston Bruins he had a winning record of
41-19-15-7 . As we all now no he has become the 1st ever Boston Bruins coach to
have more than 50+ losses in one season.

So my question to everyone Who is the real Mike Sullivan ?

Did the players stop listening to him ?

Did any one else notice his character / Demeanor in the last few weeks ?

Mike seemed so intense and wanting to win every game as if it was going to have
an immediate impact on the teams standing .

Mike wasn't relaxed behind the bench at all . He is quiet refined , but most of
all lacks a connection as coach to player . He reminds me of Steve kasper .

What is going to happen is any ones guess , but i would like to see an older
coach who has been coaching for several years with experience . Those 1 goal
losses are a reflection of intense coaching of games when the horse left the
barn. Mike Sullivan has shown he is unable to relax with what ever situation .
His demeanor is passed along to players and the results are those of a hockey
team stressed out and no longer listening .

I hope the Boston Bruins make a coaching change after a new General manager is
appointed .

Once more you heard it hear folks it is my belief that Raymond Bourque will
become the Next General manager of the Boston Bruins , and he will build his own
coaching staff .

Look for Harry Sinden to remain as President ( glorified poster delivery boy for
Delaware North)
  ).

Finally to address all the telecast about the Boston Bruins young talent . Its a
PR stunt to keep you interested and have you return to buy buy buy tickets .
Every NHL team has real good young talent , its only that our Boston Bruins
young Talent is 24 best out of 30 NHL teams !

Lets hope Ray Bourque accepts the General Manager job with the Boston Bruins .
We can all associate with Ray !

Yeah, don't I ever. It was Bobby Orr who scored on May 10, 1970 to win the first
Stanley Cup for the Bruins in 29 years against the St Louis Blues. I was
watching the game at my grandparents' house while my parents actually went to
the game. It could be 86 years this time. 2060 anyone ???

Well folks , Bruins hockey fans are fortunate enough that the pain & suffering

In the NHL ("new", "old" or otherwise), how a team has played in its
final two weeks is not an adequate indicator as to how a team will fare
in the playoffs. My best example is the '93 B's. They were SMOKING at
the end of the regular season. They were ultimately swept by a Sabres
team that limped into the playoffs. Whatever...

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth. As far as the East is concerened I am
going to go with Jersey. I believe they will be the best all around
team and have a proven playoff goalie in Brodeur. In the West I like
Detroit. They have the firepower and good solid goaltending. I'll take
the Devils in 6 in the Finals.

NJD may provide some spark in the playoffs, as they are what 8-1-1 in
their last 10? Ottawa seems to be relaxing a bit their last 10. But
both of their luck just may turn around. NJ may've tired themselves
out and Ottawa should get that boost of energy. What do the matchups
look like for the opening round?

The Boston Bruins have acquired some good talented players . Bill guerin, Mike
Knuble , Klye McLaren , Brian Rolston ,Bryan Berard ,Dan Mcgillis , Sean
O'Donnell . The good players are in demand. Why should or would these talentd
players subject themselves to Delaware North ? Why would any player want to sign
with an ownership that simply just doesn't give a dam ? Just ask all those good
impact players who want out ! You will find your answer !

It may suck that we are not in the playoffs but one good thing came out
of it.............no more O'connell and hopefully Sindin isn't too far
behind. We know that Jacobs ain't goin anywhere so lets hope that we
get someone in here for management with some fresh ideas and an eye for
talent because it has been a problem for years (except for Bergeron ).

     Here's to next season!!!!

Shorter overtimes especially if officials continue to call the games like they
have in the regular season . Lots of PPG will see games end quick

It is most likely not money ! Under NHL current guide lines between players /
owners NHL ownership ( all teams ) must may a minimum of 19 million and no more
than 41 million ( dollar figures not 100% accurate ) in NHL player salaries .
Are our Bruins players salaries totalled on the short end of the stick ? Well as
you all no every time a player is signed those words 'in keeping with Boston
Bruins policy terms of the contact were not disclosed'

Its ownership Delaware North that has business , but no hockey brains .

Did any one watch the interview on NESN with Jeremy Jacobs son who is taking
over for Daddy ? His plan is to market what players he has for 2006/2007 by
putting them in your face to sell tickets ! Leave all general management
decision to those he hires because as he said in his own words i haven't got any
experience !

Sure maybe the team will do better / worse next season . Sure win a few more
games battles scrums , possible but the bottom line we will not see any stanley
cup in Boston for a very very long long time ! As long as seats are full /
tickets sell concessions sell , TV & Radio employees sell & influence the
audience with cheap left over dead end hockey players on their last legs for
the most part ( not including Bergeron / sturm / boyes and a few others )
Delaware North is complacent to continue to smile all the way to the bank with
our money !

If only the Boston Bruins had ownership like the Boston Redsox New England
patriots there would be hope for the future , but like i have said before we can
control the destiny of our Boston Bruins hockey team by not buying tickets which
is the only message delaware North companies will ever listen too .

Our original 6 hockey team today is a very sad state of affairs and an
embarrassment to the national Hockey league . As a Boston Bruins Fan myself i
feel ashamed of our ownership / hurt / pain it has brought to all our fans and
the fans of the National Hockey league .

Finally as for Harry Sinden he is just a poster boy spokes person , for Delaware
North . He will hire a general manager for the Boston Bruins . The ownership of
the New England patriots Boston Redsox would hire a general manager if needed
for what ever reason , but not the Boston Bruins Jeremy Jacobs / son / company
because they don't no / understand / care about the day to day operations of a
successful hockey team / product put on the ice , only that money comes rolling
out of , into their pockets !

Which two teams do you think will make it to the finals?
Which team will win?

I happen to think that Ottawa end up duking it out with Anaheim. Yes,
I know I am going way way out on a limb with Anaheim, but they'll be
the sleeper. Anaheim beat Detroit before, and they can do it again. I
definitely see Ottawa taking the L.S.C. in 6, maybe even 5.

Ya, this has been a tough year. I keep telling myself that as a die hard Bruins
fan I must stick by my team through thick and thin .... well this season has
been
just about as thick as it can get I suppose (or thin if you consider our
number of wins
this past season). Let's hope that next season we will fare better. C'mon
Bruins
fans ... we all need to be here for one another.
