If I was a betting man I would never say never ! Professional sports team endure long grinding seasons . Injuries along the way play an important part in any teams success . Any team loss of key role member would change the odds of winning losing very quickly !
God forbid but could you imagine the patriots with the success with out a Tom Brady suddenly ? To be good yes you need talented players good health and lots of luck along the way .
Keep in mind any success Boston Bruins players gain will be used by the players , to spring board out of Boston to greener pastures with a few exceptions , those who want to play here , and those are playing here as a last resort , the less desirables in the watered down NHL era !
I went to the Ottawa game on Tuesday (Loge 13, Row 11)and noone is gonna beat Ottawa. They are like machines when they rush the zone. But, one thing I did notice-has Glen Murray EVER hit anyone, EVER?!? Marco Sturm was banging pretty good,but as I watched Murray, he was just going through the motions....to me anyway.

With Auld and Thomas the Bruins should be in good shape with their goaltenders, they need at least one or two more goalscorers. If they can put a deal together and get a goalscorer then they will be in better shape for the playoffs. Maybe they should go get a player like Brad Boyes, oh wait we had Boyes and we traded him for Wideman.
