I think Auld was a good acquisition due to the fact that they did not
have a goalie when Tim Thomas went down. Rask is too young for the
NHL, give him time in the AHL and in a year or two he will be a top
goalie in the NHL. If Auld can hold the fort down until Thomas gets
back the Bruins will be in good shape for the rest of the year.
When the Bruins acquide Manny Fernandez, I was shocked because Tim
Thomas was the work horse for the Bruins last year. Thomas had a
really good year for the Bruins, who were really bad.
Like I said if Auld can hold down the fort for now, the Bruins will
be in good shape when Thomas gets back. Go Bruins!!

that was a bad acquisition. Before they acquired him, his record was
50-50-? What were they thinking? An career .500 goalie, 3-6-? this
year w/phx..
