I'm surprised there hasn't been dancing in the streets and ticker tape
parades thrown yet. Of course I'm being sarcastic. I've got mixed
feelings about him myself. In the 80's I thought he was a genius and I
loved him. Over the last 15 years that has been erroded. His penny
pinching ways might have been overlooked if it had produced a winner.
Unfortunately he had to go. Even the perception that he would still be
involved with the Bruins would turn fans(and players away). With the
changes in place already I'm predicting a playoff berth and at least a
more competitive team. A serious run at the Cup is probably another
year or two away.
