I've been to a couple Manchester Monarch games (AHL), one against the Baby
B's...I think I was the only one there rooting for the B's...lol...I think
mostly people in the states that are die-hards will come back, but we're not
answering any of the polls because we're just tired of the roller-coaster
ride that the media has put us through and were waiting for the end result
instead of getting our hopes too high...the people who are answering the
polls 'I don't care' are the ones that really don't, and I really believe
the Carolina's and the Phoenix's will have a hard time the first couple
years...it doesn't appear like contraction will be an option the league is
looking to, so unless they get their cap the small market and non-hockey
market teams (and Canadien teams not named the Canadiens and Maple Leafs)
will suffer the most...
and I can't speak for everyone here, but I've been on the owners side since
the beginning...enough blame to go around, but to me Goodenow has to go...it
seems to me like his fued with Bettman is personal...if Bettman needs to go
also to help the process so be it, but I think his heart's in the right
place...

Ya , isn't junior hockey great ? I have season tickets to the
Vancouver Giants ( WHL ) this year and it has been fantastic . Works
out to be about $15 a ticket for prime seats , no clutching , grabbing
, obstruction ,holdouts , checking bankbooks in between shifts etc
,and the kids go hard every shift for the dream to one day make the
big league . I believe the Giants attendance is up 70 % this year .

NHL (a bit) and fear the league is on the edge of a knife. There will
be less than 30 teams when they come back (IMO).
