Just wondering what the basic feeling is in other cities ( especially
US cities ) about the NHL shutting down and hibernating . Here in
Vancouver the owners are clearly winning the popularity vote by a wide
margin . The sportstalk shows are still pretty much dominated by
discussion of the fiasco and who's to blame , what's next etc . I'm
curious if anyone gives a damn at all in non NHL team cities as celeb
poker was kicking hockeys ass in the TV ratings down there . Here in
Canada the arenas will be packed again pretty much from the get go ,
but there will be unrepairable damage in the US and from what I read
in the papers no one seems to give a damn at all down there for the
most part .
