It looks like the weather will be OK for the Saturday July 12 Social to be held from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at the six outdoor tennis courts at Fairland Regional Park, 3928 Greencastle Rd. Burtonsville, MD, if nobody beats us to the courts.
The Social is FREE. Non-CTL members, Kids and Eaters Only welcome. Balls, food and drinks will be provided. Chinese food and pizza around 11:30!
So far, 39 players have signed up but they are coming at different times so there is room for more. But there will probably be some waiting to play between 9:00 and 11:00. So if you can, please sign up for 11:00 or later or even 7:00 or 7:30 am!
Please reply (ctlad@...) or go to www.tennisladder.com if you would like to play and have not already signed up. Or just show up and hope that a lot of others do not come at the same time.

Format will probably be: play First-To-4 no-ad mini-set win-by-1-not-2 then get off and join others or wait. But suggestions are welcome.
We would like to start the Social early, like 8:00 am, or even 7:00 or 7:30 am, to make sure we get these public courts. Also it will be cooler at these early times. Please let us know your Estimated Time of Arrival.
