CTL Members and Friends,

 

Please reply (to ctlad@...), or sign up at  www.tennisladder.com, if you would like to play in Free CTL Tournaments, Leagues and Round Robins. Non CTL members welcome. All levels welcome.

 

Please sign up by August 15 for Tournaments and Leagues so play can start on August 17.

 

Because players of different ability may sign up, some Leagues, Tournaments, Round Robins may have only two teams/players.

 

For Tournaments you will be asked to play one match every 10 days until you lose (are eliminated).  If 8 players of similar ability sign up, there will be 4 rounds and that Tournament should end in 40 days or Sept 26.   

 

For Leagues you will also be asked to play one match every 10 days, but you will play everybody else that signs up.   If 6 players/teams sign up, Leagues should end in 50 days or Oct 6.  (4 players/teams:  Sept 16).

 

Round Robins take only one day.  Players/Teams will play 8 no-ad games with everybody else that signs up.  The proposed RR dates are the 3 remaining Saturdays in August (13,20,27) from 8-11am at the 6 Greencastle Courts in Burtonsville, MD if nobody beats us to the courts.  You must arrive on time at 8:00 am. If you can’t make these dates, times and place, please suggest your own.

 

For Doubles, you can sign up without a partner.

 

If you are signed up but no longer wish to play, please email or call.

 

The Tournaments, Leagues and Round Robins are Free but for Tournaments and Leagues you must supply your own balls and players must agree on a place and time to play.  Courts won't be reserved for you.  But if we start the RRs at 8:00 am, we should get at least 3 of the 6 Greencastle Courts.

 

Every winner will receive a pair of CTL Flip Flops ($8 value, or two cans of tennis balls).
