Hello All!
It's not too late to donate money to a great cause! I'm only a few dollars away from reaching my goal.
Thanks,
Isaias

On Saturday, October 4th, I will be
riding my bicycle, for the third consecutive year, to raise funds for BORP. The BORP Revolution is a 100-mile bike ride taking place in Sonoma County's picturesque back roads.
I will be joined by other able-bodied cyclists as well as BORP
participants: disabled athletes using hand cycles and others who are
visually impaired but guided by a partner.
BORP, or Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program, is a non-profit organization that fosters the health, independence, and social integration
of youth and adults with physical disabilities through sport, fitness
and recreation programs. For more information please visit the BORP
website:
To pledge funds, simply visit my personal BORP fundraising page, https://www.active.com/donate/BORPRevolution2008/IJob1
All
online donations are secure. However, if you preferred to do things the
tried and true way, you can also send checks payable to Bay Area
Outreach & Recreation Program to: BORP, 830 Bancroft Way, Suite 205, Berkeley, CA 94710 (please put my name in the notes field).
Or make your check payable to me: Isaias Job, 2599
Garcia Ave, Mountain View, CA 94043 and I will in turn write one check to turn in.
NOTE: More of your funds actually go to BORP when writing a check because bank credit card processing fees are avoided!
Thanks In Advance,
Isaias

A snippet about last year's success from the director of BORP:
Revolution 2007, By the Numbers:
We had 203 fundraising riders. As a group, you raised over
$150,000. Your efforts support BORP's mission, improving
the health, independence and social integration of people
with physical disabilities through sports, fitness and
recreation programs.
There were 54 100-mile riders, 56 riders on the 65-mile
route, 66 25-mile riders, and 27 trail riders. All together
we rode 11,000 miles. We also had over 100 volunteers going
above the call of duty to make this event the success it
was. You can relive the experience by watching the Revolution
2007 VIDEO and SLIDE SHOW on our website www.borp.org.
Removing Barriers,
Expanding Worlds
Because of you, BORP will be able to reach out to a segment
of the disabled community that requires additional
assistance in order to participate in our programs. Your efforts
will allow us to provide transportation to youth and adults
who would otherwise be left sitting at home. Your
participation helps us supply sports equipment, underwrite travel
expenses for low-income athletes, and provide expert
coaching and access to athletic facilities. With your support,
we are systematically shattering barriers between
individuals with disabilities and the benefits of sports, adventure
and fitness. Because of your efforts, the world of our
participants will expand, and we as a community will benefit.
Thank you, from all of us at BORP.
